Q. How do I place an order for repairs or spare parts?

First you need to open an account with iTech Repair Ltd, just choose 'Register' from the top menu bar, complete the sign up process by entering a valid email address, your address details and a password. Then select the spare parts or repair services you require for your unit by clicking the 'Add to Cart' button on the specific product page. Then complete the checkout process choosing your payment method.

Q. How long does it take to repair my device?

Our aim is for repair services to be completed within a Fast 3-5 Working Day time frame excluding weekends or bank holidays. Fault finding and diagnostic services may involve a larger time frame. If you are in the UK your unit will be sent back out via fully insured Royal Mail tracked delivery, and will usually be with you by 1pm on the following working day. Outside the UK return destinations will be shipped via FedEx or DHL and will take depending on the shipping method and location between five and seven days.

Q. How do I get my device to you?

Shipping the device to us is your responsibility. You should use an insured carrier, in the UK we recommend the Royal Mail Special Delivery service, this will cost very little and the package will be insured for a minimum of £500.00 if lost or damaged. Please ensure you use a cardboard box and wrap the unit in bubble wrap this will ensure the unit arrives in the same condition you sent it in.

Q. Which methods of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards excluding American Express. We also accept PayPal so all your purchases are covered under the PayPal Protection Policy. Payments can also be made by postal order, cash, cheque, and BACS (direct bank transfer). Please make cheques payable to 'iTech Repair Ltd'. You can pay online. Q. What is included in the price of repair?
All our repair prices include parts, fitting, free return shipping, and 6 months warranty.

Q. I am unable to find a specific part on your website do you sell it?

All our current spare part inventory is listed on the web site but please feel free to make contact with your request.

Q. If my device cannot be repaired or I do not want a repair, will there be any charge?

There will be no charge. We offer a free diagnostic service at no cost you. If the device cannot be repaired or you no longer wish to go ahead with the repair just contact us via phone and we can return the device to you, return shipping will be charged alternately you can pick it up from our service centre. If you do not wish to go ahead with the repair, you must do so before the repair has been started or you will be charged for the repair so please get in contact as soon as possible.

Q. Can I drop my device into your service centre for repairs?

No, due to security concerns in relation to the digital forensic work we undertake for law enforcement, we no longer allow customers to visit our premises for drop off or collections.

Q. Should I send my SIM card and charger with my phone or tablet?

You do not need to send these into us as they are not required, please just send the phone or tablet, unless you wish us to specifically test your chargers functionality.

Q. How much is return delivery after repair?

You do not need to pay for return delivery; it is included in the repair price. We do not have hidden costs. We send all devices back via fully insured methods for devices shipped inside the UK a Royal Mail tracked delivery service is used, for outside the UK the Royal Mail International Signed For services are used.

Q. How long are website orders held before being processed?

All orders are checked using 3rd party information sources to minimise fraud. If there is a chance the purchase may be fraudulent, the payment will be held for 24 hours, iTech Repair Ltd may then ask for further proof of identity please check your email up to 48 hours after order placement in case this happens.

Q. How long is the repair warranty?

Q. Will I lose any data on my device as a result of the repair?

This depends on the repair. In the majority of repairs your data is safe and untouched e.g. screen replacement, battery repair. However we can not guarantee we can keep your data fully intact in order to get your device up and running again so please backup your data before sending your device.

Q. Will you ship spare parts internationally?

Yes! We currently ship to over 43 countries on a regular basis. When you create an account on the website store it adjusts the shipping charges based upon your chosen delivery location.
